Is the whole thing biodegradable?

YES! Every bit, from the paper tube to the silica-derived liner and vegetable cellulose finish is biodegradable.

How long does it take to biodegrade?

Our paper tube typically breaks down in 2-5 months, depending on the environmental conditions, such as temperature, air circulation, and moisture.

Some brands use a plastic liner, do you?

Nope! Some paperboard deodorant containers are lined with plastic, meaning they are not fully biodegradable. Our liner is made from a verified biodegradable plastic-free liner.

Is this formula the same?

Yes! Same great Humble formulas and scents.

When will there be more scents available?

This is a great question. Really, it depends on YOU. If Humble customers and other earth-conscious folks are as excited about our plastic free packaging as we are, then we will certainly expand our scent options in the future.

Why does it cost more?

While the product inside the tube is exactly the same as our other deodorants, you are getting more deodorant in our plastic free packaging, 2.65 oz to be exact. The cost of the paperboard tube also contributes to the higher price. Biodegradable materials are special and simply cost more to produce. It's an investment you can feel good about though, as every purchase makes a difference.

Works REALLY Well & Love the Patchouli Copal Scent

I really love this deodorant. It's very effective at keeping me fresh all day. This is the second scent I've tried and my favorite, the first one, Palo Santo/Frankincense, both scents I really like for house clearing, were too strong for me as a deodorant. The Patchouli Copal might even be a bit too mild scent-wise, because I love the combination so much! The cardboard push-up tube is easy to use and works well. I've used a "natural" deodorant for many years that I thought was safe, but with a deeper look, I discovered that it was not as good as I thought. With that information newly discovered and my attempt to get rid of as much plastic as possible in my house, I began exploring a healthier and plastic-free deodorant option. I'm so glad I ended up trying Humble second in my search, as I'll be using this Patchouli Copal enthusiastically from now on. :)

Smelly Good Stuff

Love this scent, packaging, and price!
I do have to keep a finger in there to keep the product up, no biggy. Weird thing, the quality sticker is “too sticky”, leaving sticky residue on the tube. I’m tactile af.

The best all-natural deodorant I have found to date!

I have been trying many aluminum free and all natural deodorants for 7 years now. And while they may work in the wintertime, come summertime they don't ever last throughout the entire day. My husband was having the same issue. We have been using Native deodorant for the last year and while I loved the scents, it simply did not last the entire day and required 2 or 3 applications throughout the day. But after switching to this deodorant, I only have to apply once in the morning and it lasts all day! Even in the summer! My husband works out in the heat and humidity and he even said how great it works! Thank you for the recommendation, Jason Momoa! <3 Oh and this Patchouli and Copal scent is such an amazing smell!

This deodorant far surpassed expectation. The smell is intoxicating and the feel is like velvet. It is easier to puch up and use that I had thought. Overall I am very happy!
