What's Palo Santo?

Palo Santo is a fragrant wood that has been considered precious for centuries. It comes from a tree native to the coast of South America and is related to Frankincense and Myrrh. It has been used for everything from important shamanic rituals to simply perfuming the homes of natives in Ecuador. Palo Santo, meaning “holy stick”, has become a recognizable part of many Western yoga studios and home smudging stations.

Sustainable Harvest

In recent years, the harvesting practices of palo santo have come to the forefront of concerns within the wellness community and beyond. It can take 10 years for a tree to produce oil. In order to preserve these precious trees, only aged, dead wood is gathered from the forest floor, which allows for the production of oil without causing harm to living trees.

Beyond the best in the market

OMG!!!!

OK. This is a deodorant. So I'm supposed to talk about how great it stops the stink. Yup. Does that. But the SCENT! Holey Moley Batman! Don't laugh (or cringe) not only do I put this on for the work day, but after a shower at night. Because this stuff smell so dang good! Seriously - you need to make a perfume solid stick (paper tube only please). OK - to the deodorant stuff - goes on easy - though be gentle with it! - else it can get on your sleeves. And there's NO PLASTICS!!! Can I say - I love you and not be weird? ;-)

Scent is ok, a little strong

I have been trying different brands for a while now and saw this was highly recommended. I do not like having white stripes on my clothes or little bits of deodorant falling off of me! I saw that you've recommended using less and allowing the product time to rest. I hardly use any and am down to one swipe now but not sure why it is so crumbly. I just with it went on more smoothly and didn't leave a residue. I don't think it's possible to use less than I am already using! I have the Rose and will try that now to see if there's any difference but something in the formula is causing this. Too much baking powder? I don't know but I think you should look at this and hopefully improve it! I do like that the cover is easy to remove and that not a lot of product adheres to it as some other brands have very tight covers and they become difficult to remove. Thanks for listening. Thanks for your review, and I'm happy to further assist! It's great you are already using the 1-3 swipes when applying. It can also be helpful to hold the stick against your skin for 5-10 seconds to warm up the product and help it glide. Also, we recommend rubbing in any excess with your fingertips and applying to dry skin for best results.

Love This Brand of Deodorant, But not such a fan of this particular scent.

I bought this scent for my husband after seeing this is the scent Jason Momoa uses. However, I am not such a huge fan of this scent. My husband is ok with it, but I feel like it is pretty strong and almost a minty smell. I can smell it all around our home after he puts it on, and it is somewhat off-putting. Obviously, every nose is different, and scents smell differently on different people. But I will opt for a different scent for my husband on my next purchase. We really love the patchouli and copal scent though!! <3 Due to not being a fan of this particular scent, I removed one star. But the deodorant itself works amazingly! To each their own <3
