Supporting Together We Rise

When we partnered with actor and director Troian Bellisario on a new scent, she introduced us to the indispensable work of Together We Rise. The non-profit, founded in 2008, is changing the way kids experience foster care. Their programs let youth in the foster care system know that they matter.

Here at Humble Brands, we have seen first hand the amazing impact that can be made by working in unity to lift up a community. We are honored to collaborate with this invaluable organization that directly and meaningfully affects the lives of children across the country.

Supporting Together We Rise is a personal mission for Troian. “One of my best friends made the incredible decision to be a foster parent,” she shares, “and watching her take this step in her life was such an inspiration to me. She introduced me to Together We Rise and the work that they are doing and how they transform the lives of foster youth across the nation, is undeniably beautiful.”

We’re pleased to join Troian in support. Not everyone can become a foster parent, but we all have the power to support children in the foster care system by donating our time and resources. “It’s important we come together to give these youth important resources they need to have a childhood they deserve,” explains Gianna Dahlia, Executive Director of Together We Rise.

We are pledging 50% of our profits from Star Anise & Palmarosa to Together We Rise. In supporting this charity, our hope is to not only be part of helping them fulfill their mission, but to bring awareness to the disparities that exist for children in foster care nationwide.
