Objective: The Accounts Payable professional is responsible for managing and maintaining the company's accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, effective communication skills, and a willingness to cross-train in Accounts Receivable and inventory management functions. The candidate must be familiar and comfortable working in a paperless environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Invoice Processing:

• Review and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness.
• Enter invoices into Quickbooks Desktop, coding them to the appropriate accounts and departments.
• Ensure timely payment of vendor invoices by managing the accounts payable aging report.

Vendor Management:

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate and organized digital vendor files.
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice and payment-related inquiries.

Reporting and Analysis:

• Assist in monthly closings, ensuring all relevant accounts payable transactions are recorded.
• Prepare and process bi-weekly check runs and electronic payments.
• Support the Controller in various tasks, including financial reporting and analysis.

Process Improvement:

• Assist in the development and implementation of accounts payable policies and procedures.
• Identify areas for improvement within the accounts payable process and recommend solutions.

Cross-Training and Support:

• Learn and assist with Accounts Receivable functions to provide coverage during vacations or absences.
• Support the inventory management process by helping to maintain accurate records and perform periodic reconciliations.

Requirements:

• A combination of relevant experience, professional certificates, and/or a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Quickbooks Desktop is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, particularly related to accounts payable processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with a high level of accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

This position reports directly to the AP Manager. We’re looking for a Product Development Specialist to join our growing team and support both new product innovation and the lifecycle management of our expanding portfolio. If you thrive on detail, documentation, and helping bring clean, conscious products to life—this role is for you. You’ll work closely with the Director of Product Development and cross-functional teams to ensure product excellence from R&D through post-launch updates.

This position reports to the Director of Product Development and will collaborate with teams in operations, finance, and marketing.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct ingredient and packaging research to support innovation
• Own BOMs and spec sheet creation for all active and in-development SKUs
• Track and execute product updates (e.g., fragrance/material swaps,
  packaging updates)
• Support compliance reviews and certifications (Canada, EU, EWG, etc.)
• Maintain ingredient libraries and raw material documentation
• Support prototype testing: gather feedback and maintain organized records
  and briefs
• Coordinate with vendors on formula development and R&D sampling
• Collaborate with finance and PD leadership on product costing and margin
  analysis
• Ensure documentation and project files are organized and up to date in
  Google Drive

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in product development, regulatory, R&D, or
  operations in CPG
• Highly organized and self-motivated with strong documentation and follow-
  up skills
• Comfortable with Google Workspace (especially Drive and Sheets)
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for personal care products is a plus
• Experience with project management tools like Asana is a bonus
• Passion for natural products, sustainability, and clean beauty
• Knowledge of natural cosmetic raw materials, including essential oils and
  natural fragrance
• Able to balance independent work with cross-functional collaboration
• CPG or personal care experience required

Compensation: This is an hourly role, $25–$30/hr depending on experience. While
the role will begin with direct support and close collaboration, we’re looking for
someone who can grow with the department over time.
