Bars don't leak. They just need somewhere to sit.

Take the tray out and leave it on your shower shelf. Water runs through it and keeps going, so the bar sits above the water instead of in it.

The tin doesn't drain, so keep it out of the spray. Some people leave the bar in it between trips just to keep the two straight. That works too.

humble Shampoo is stamped into one lid. humble Conditioner into the other. No ink, no paint, no label, so two of them in a bag are two different things without opening either one.

Three inches square, an inch and a half deep. One bar per tin, any Humble bar hair care bar.

The tray is the part that drains.

Out of the tin, on your shelf. Water runs through and keeps going, so the bar isn't sitting in it.

A place for both.

humble Shampoo stamped into one lid, humble Conditioner into the other. Two in a bag, no opening required.

Anodized aluminum.

Treated inside and out. No iron in it, so there's nothing to rust. Recyclable when you're finally done with it.

Nothing to decant.

No pouring shampoo into a 3.4-ounce bottle that leaks anyway. A bar isn't a liquid, so it travels as it is.

How to use

Put your bar hair care bar into its proper tin and put it in your shower — just keep the tin out of the spray, since it doesn't drain. You can also remove the inner tray and put that in your shower on its own.

What is the inner tray for?

It lifts the bar up on two ribs so water runs through the holes instead of sitting underneath. Wet bars go soft.

Will it rust?

No. Aluminum has no iron in it, so there's nothing to rust. These are anodized inside and out, which also keeps the finish from dulling.

Why two tins?

humble Shampoo is stamped into one lid, humble Conditioner into the other. One bar per tin.

Can I fly with it?

Yes. A solid bar isn't a liquid, so the 3.4-ounce limit doesn't apply and there's nothing to decant. Let the bar dry before you pack it. The lid slips on, it doesn't seal.
