Ten years ago, Jeff Shardell left a career at Google because he believed personal care didn't need to be complicated. He looked at the ingredient lists on natural deodorants and thought: this is absurd. Thirty ingredients to do the job of four? He went into his kitchen in Taos and didn't come out until he'd made something that actually worked — with just MCT oil, cornstarch, baking soda, and beeswax.
That kitchen experiment became Humble Brands — a company built on the idea that effective, clean personal care shouldn't require a chemistry degree to understand. The Original Formula deodorant provides all-day freshness with just four base ingredients. For those with sensitive skin, the Vegan & Sensitive Skin formula is completely baking soda-free, using a gentle plant-based alternative that's just as effective.
Today Humble is in over 10,000 stores, including Whole Foods, Sprouts, Target, and Natural Grocers. 3.2 million deodorants sold last year. 25% year-over-year growth. Still made in Taos. Still solar-powered. Still obsessively simple.
