What's Palo Santo?

Palo Santo is a fragrant wood that has been considered precious for centuries. It comes from a tree native to the coast of South America and is related to Frankincense and Myrrh. It has been used for everything from important shamanic rituals to simply perfuming the homes of natives in Ecuador. Palo Santo, meaning “holy stick”, has become a recognizable part of many Western yoga studios and home smudging stations.

Sustainable Harvest

In recent years, the harvesting practices of palo santo have come to the forefront of concerns within the wellness community and beyond. It can take 10 years for a tree to produce oil. In order to preserve these precious trees, only aged, dead wood is gathered from the forest floor, which allows for the production of oil without causing harm to living trees.

We work with palo santo essential oil that is ECOCERT/COSMO approved.

Works well, not crazy about the scent

Can't say anything negative other than I seem to be the only person who doesn't find this scent to be mind-blowing. I like it, but like Moroccan Rose more. That's just a preference. I can see why a lot of people love the scent - it's herbal, earthy, not floral, and works well for both a masculine and feminine vibe. Great at odor control. I look forward to trying more scents from Humble.

Amazing stuff!

I love this deodorant. It’s the first product without aluminum that I have found that works, and I like it as a body smell/perfume just as much as I appreciate it as a deodorant.
